Here is a tutorial on how I like to braid my horses tail in preparation for our competitions.
Don't worry if you can't get it first time, this takes time and practice to perfect!
Remember a key step is that you must prep before you begin - ensure their hair is ready with no knots or tangles that will get in your way. Also make sure you have a band or whatever you choose to secure the plait to hand so you don't have to find it whilst holding the plait tight!
